With reference to my communication to you of the 15th instant and your letter of the 15th instant, I have now, by direction of His Excellency the Major General Commanding, to enter upon the subjects contained therein.
In your letter, paragraph 1, you refer to the opening of a new wharf and propose much needed accommodation for the public between the praya and the shore, at the eastern terminations of the Military buildings between the parade ground.
